Carla's Cabbage Soup

Ingredients



    * Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia)
    * Carrots, raw, 3 cup, chopped
    * Onions, raw, 2.5 large
    * Celery, raw, 2 cup, diced
    * Better Than Bouillon- Chicken, 3 tbsp
    * Stewed Tomatoes, 4 cup
    * Water, tap, 1 cup

Directions

Chop all ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook until desired tenderness.

  • I let onions cook on low in little bit of oil until carmelized, then added the rest of ingredients. Used tomatoes that were not stewed. I didn't measure vegetable amounts, just added as many as possible. It was very good. Will not rate because I can never follow an exact recipe! Thanks4sharing - 10/5/10
