Introduction

A service is 30 Grams aprox 2 table spoons. You should top with a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil which adds 40 calories and 4.5 grams of fat 3.3 of which is monosaturated.

Serve with one Joseph's Heart Friendly pita. Adds 60 calories. Toasting it makes it crunchy and oh so yummy!!!

    *tahina, 1.5 tbsp 20 Grams
    *Lemon Juice, 1 lemon yields
    Cilantro, raw, 2 tbsp
    Mrs Dash Lime Fiesta Lime, 1 tbsp or to tast

  • I didn't have cilantro so I used regular parsley instead. I'm used to making it with parsley ever since our good Lebanese friends shared us their recipe back in the 1970's. This time thoughI had some roasted garlic that my mom had made so I used that instead of the regular garlic and it's yummo! - 2/7/10
