Introduction

This is a great subsitute for mashed potatoes if your looking for a lower carb option, if your looking to get in more veggies or if your not crazy about potatoes.

Recipe makes about 4 half cup servings

Ingredients

    1 1lb bag of frozen cauliflower

Directions

Steam/cook the cauliflower according to the package directions and then drain. Place drained caulifower in a bowl and use a hand held blender to pulverize the cauliflower to desired consistency.

You can add spices and butter before or after but unlike mashed potatoes you do not need to add milk/cream due to the natural creaminess of the cauliflower

My family adds butter and spices after which allows each person to personalize it to their own tastes.
