Submitted by: KYREE90

Introduction

Inspired by one of my favorite recipes at Green Lite Bites (www.greenlitebites.com), I went with beef and rice instead of chicken and noodles. Inspired by one of my favorite recipes at Green Lite Bites (www.greenlitebites.com), I went with beef and rice instead of chicken and noodles.

Ingredients

8 oz. 93% lean ground beef

    1 cup salsa
    1 can green beans
    1 cup canned corn
    1 1/2 cups water

Directions

Brown ground beef in a big skillet. Add rice, brown according to package directions. Add water, salsa and seasoning packet. Cook (according to package) for about 15 minutes, then add beans and corn. Heat through.
