Ingredients

* 2 cups dry pinto beans
* 5 cups water
* minced fresh garlic
* chopped fresh onion
* 1 tsp. Morton's lite salt
* 1/2 tsp. or more Bolner's seasoning
Directions
Pick through beans and throw away bad beans. Cover with tap water and soak for at least 4 hours. Drain and rinse beans and dump in bottom of crockpot. Add water, garlic, onion and spices. Turn on high for 1 hour and reduce to low. Cook until beans are tender. Serve with tortilla and desired toppings.

What a great idea for breakfast! These were good (I admit to spicing them up a bit more), and added to a warm tortilla, make a wonderful, sustaining, and healthy breakfast. Bravo! - 12/29/09
