Cabbage soup

Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    6 cups water
    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, large (about 7" dia) chopped
    2 Green Peppers chopped
    Scallions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Celery, raw, 4 cup, diced
    Parsley, .25 cup
    Unsalted Beef stock, home-prepared, 8 cup
    Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added, 2 cup
    *Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, with green chilies, 1.5 cup
    *Soup, LIPTON, RECIPE SECRETS ONION, Mix, Dry, 4 serving

Directions

makes 18 servings
add chopped veggies and stock, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add tomatoes (both cans) add half package of soup mix.
Return to a boil and simmer for another 15.

Can be pureed for soup base or eaten as is.
