IntroductionThis breakfast recipe is from my mom's family, and I request it whenever we visit. This breakfast recipe is from my mom's family, and I request it whenever we visit.
2 egg yolks
2 cups milk, 2%
2 - 2.5 T flour
salt and pepper to taste
Combine egg yolks, milk, flour in blender. Cook on low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spread over buttered bread or toast. (Add more salt & pepper if needed.)
* Mom now adds just a dash of salt & pepper when cooking, and leaves it for people to adjust to their individual tastes.
* Leftovers (if there are any) refrigerate and reheat very well.
