Ingredients

    ** note this recipe was made for a large family gathering... cut down as necessary.

    1.5 boxes (approx 60 shells) Jumbo shells
    2 Lbs ground bear meat
    2-3 cans Ragu mushroom sauce
    roughly 4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
    1 1\2 lg containters kraft ricotta cheese (aprox 4 cups).
    seasonings of your choice to taste (I used mccormick roasted garlic & bell pepper seasoning & oregano)

    ** If you don't eat game meat you can use beef**

Directions


Boil shells & drain... set aside to soak in cold water until filling them

Brown bear meat

While meat is cooking Preheat oven to 350F

Mix cheeses and about 1-2 cups (to your taste) of sauce in a bowl.

Stir browned bear meat & seasonings into cheese

Coat the bottom of your baking dishes with sauce

One at a time, take shells from water (shaking excess water from inside) and fill with approx 1-1.5tbsp of filling.

Make one layer of shells in the pan, cover with more sauce (to your taste, I don't put too much)

(optional: can reserve some moz cheese and sprinkle it over top of sauce before baking)

Bake for 30-35 mins - until warm in the center.

This recipe made 61 shells.... Served with salad and garlic bread to complete the meal.
