Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients


    * 1 1/2 cups, Lentils, rinsed and picked through
    * 4 cups, Kitchen Basic Vegetable Stock
    1/2 chopped Onions
    * 1/2 cup chopped Carrots
    *1/2 cup chopped Celery
    * 3 cloves Garlic, minced
    * 1 can Stewed Tomatoes
    *1 tsp. Olive Oil
    *1/2 tsp Salt, .5 tsp
    *1 tsp Pepper, black
    * 2 tsp Lemon Pepper 'Tones (optional) *add more to the sodium, you can leave the salt and pepper out if you add lemon pepper.

Directions

In a medium sized pot, add olive oil, add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Stir until lightly browned. Add rinsed lentils and stock along with all seasonings. You can also add any soup seasoning that you wish. Bring to a boil and reduce heat until lentils are cooked.

Serve with crackers or bread
