TVP corn chowder

Introduction

I made this out of ingredients in the house and my husband and I both enjoyed it quite a bit. Next time I would try adding a squash. I made this out of ingredients in the house and my husband and I both enjoyed it quite a bit. Next time I would try adding a squash.

Ingredients

    3 large red potatoes
    1 large yellow onion
    6 c water
    1 cube veggie bouillon
    1 package frozen spinach
    2 tins corn
    1 c texturized soy protein
    2 tbsp nutritional yeast
    3/4 tsp cinammon
    1/4 tsp all spice

Directions

Chop onion and potatoes and cook in 6 c of water with veggie bouillon until tender. Blend carefully with hand mixer (don't spray hot soup all over yourself) or pour into blender and blend. Thaw spinach and soak tvp in boiling (boiled) water while potatoes and onion are cooking. Return mixture to heat, add the rest of the ingredients, bring to just under boil while stirring and serve.
