Martys Tuna Tetrazini

Introduction

Creamy tuna spaghetti Creamy tuna spaghetti
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    Olive Oil
    Onion
    Unbleached White Flour
    Chunk Light Tuna In Water
    Diced Green Chilie Peppers
    Dry Sherry
    Milk 2%
    Garlic
    Parsley, Dried
    Basil, Dried
    Oregano, Dried
    Rosemary, Dried
    Water
    Parmesan - Romano Cheese
    Salt
    Black Pepper

Directions

Heat a large pan over medium heat, add olive oil and onions, cook until tender. Stir in flour and salt and allow to cook for a few minutes to remove raw flour taste. Slowly add milk and allow sauce to thicken. Add 2 cans of tuna with the water to sauce mixture. Add remainder of seasonings and stir. Break spaghetti into thirds and add to mixture. Add enough water to cover spaghetti and stir well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cover. Allow to cook, stiring occasionally and adding enought water to keep moist. When spaghetti is tender stir in cheese and serve. Makes 5 servings

  • Unsure of what measurements to use for each ingredient. Overall, I found that Betty Crocker's Tuna Helper Tuna Tetrazini had less calories, fat, sodium; etc.
