Balsamic vinegar salad dressing

Ingredients

    1/4 C balsalmic viniger
    1/2 C olive oil
    1.5 Tbs dijon mustard
    1.5 Tbs honey
    1 sm shallot
    1 clove garlic- minced
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper

Directions

Mix all ingrediants and shake.
Best if refrigerate for 1 hour before using to blend
1 Tbs per serving

  • I really liked this dressing. I have made plain olive oil and balsamic many times. I think the dijon helped it to taste less strong and give it a different sort of character. It's a keeper - 5/13/09

  • This was SO good! I made it without the mustard as it was going on a fruit type salad, but I will definately make it again...could be used as a marinate as well. - 6/5/08
