Tuna Noodle Casserole

Introduction

This is a fast and simple alternative to the Tuna Noodle Helper Casserole. My kids love it. I came up with this on my own, after realizing how much SALT I was putting into my kids' bodies by doing the kitchen Helper meals... Not this recipe isn't perfect, but I think it is much better the the boxed stuff. This is a fast and simple alternative to the Tuna Noodle Helper Casserole. My kids love it. Ingredients

    3 cans Tuna in water
    2 Jars Ragu Alfredo Sauce
    10 bag Frozen Peas
    Extra Wide Egg Noodles, Cooked

Directions

Cook noodles per package directions.

Mix sauce, peas, tuna fish and the can water all together. You may need to add some more water to get it the right consistency for you.

Heat the mixture to a boil.

I have 2 ways of continuing here. 1) I pour the sauce into the strained noodles and bake for about 10 minutes; or 2) I pour the sauce mix over the top of plated noodles.

Depending on how lazy I want to be. :)

It tastes better to me, if it is mixed and baked. But one of my kids doesn't like it baked. It sometimes tends to dry out when baked. So you have to watch it CLOSLY!!
