Introduction

These waffles are so incredibly good and no one would ever guess they are so healthy and good for you. I like to make a couple recipes so I can have some to freeze. Then I just pop them in the toaster. These waffles are so incredibly good and no one would ever guess they are so healthy and good for you. I like to make a couple recipes so I can have some to freeze. Then I just pop them in the toaster.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1. Preheat waffle iron.
    2. Place the following ingredients in the blender:

    2 cups water
    1-2 tablespoons concentrated apple juice, sucanat, agave or maple syrup to taste
    1 cup quick oats
    cup cornmeal
    cup flaxseed
    cup raw cashews
    2 tablespoon cornstarch
    teaspoon salt


    3. Blend all ingredients for 1 minute.
    4. Pour mixtures into preheated waffle iron and close the lid. Bake until steam stops rising and the waffle is golden brown and crisp.
