Berries and "Gelato"

Introduction

This recipe is originally made with vanilla gelato but frozen vanilla yogurt was substituted in for the "Sparked" alternative. Feel free to make the original if you have any spare calories and/or want to indulge. Also the ginger syrup can be generic and there are various recipes to make them. Ingredients

    -strawberries
    -raspberries
    -blueberries
    -blackberries
    -a dollop of vanilla frozen yogurt
    -a little ginger syrup
    -a splash of 7-up or sprite

Directions

Makes 4-5 servings

-mix berries and place into parfait (or similarly deep) glasses, or if you wanna go fancy, champagne flutes.

-add a tsp or two of ginger syrup to berries and give a gentle stir.

-add a splash of 7-up or sprite

-top off with a mini scoop or dollop of frozen vanilla yogurt
