laurie's turkey soup

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 cups raw carrots
    2 cups chopped oinions
    4 cups chopped celery
    30 cups turkey broth ( bones of 1 turkey boiled with i oniona and 1 tbsp of poultry seasoning)
    1 tbsp butter
    1 cup dry egg noodles
    fresh dill
    2 cups chopped turkey meat.
    1 cup frozen peas
    1 cup frozen corn

Directions

Put the bones of one turkey in stock pot ( 30L )with 1 onion and 1 tbsp of poultry seasoning. Let simmer 1.5 hours
Take out bones and strain broth. Take off any remaining meat off of bones and add to stock
Add chopped carrots to stock
Fry celery and onions in 1 tbsp of butter till soft and brown.
Add browned celery and onions to stock.
add meat to stock
Add corn and peas
Add noodles
Just befor serving add dill.
