Potato, raw, 5 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.)
Swanson Natural Goodness Chicken Broth, 6 cup
Garlic, 3 tsp
Onions, raw, 1.50 cup, chopped
2 Bay Leaves
Salt and Pepper to taste
16 oz. half and half
Roast garlic with a 1/4 cup of chicken broth in a small dish at 300 degrees for one hour.
Heat 2 T. of oil olive in a large stock pot. Add chopped onion and saute. Add garlic pulp, rest of chicken broth, sliced/peeled potatoes, bay leaves and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then simmer for 20 minutes covered with lid. Remove bay leaves and mash potatoes. Add half and half. Bring temperture back up but not to boiling. Salt and pepper to your liking.

No directions, "remove" tags on list of ingredients, serving size not indicated (could be a cup). While I am sure most could make a soup just from the list of ingredients (soup is not hard to make) we must take better care before posting recipes. - 10/15/09
