Green Bean Casserole

Introduction

Green Bean Casserole is one of our favorite holiday dishes...this one isn't quite the same as the original (no fried onions!) but it's still delish! Green Bean Casserole is one of our favorite holiday dishes...this one isn't quite the same as the original (no fried onions!) but it's still delish!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 cans (5.25 cups) DelMonte Green Beans
    1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup (98% fat free)
    1 chopped onion
    1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream
    1/4 cup reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese
    1 TBSP unsalted butter
    1/3 cup crushed Ritz Crackers
    Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

Saute onions until transluscent. Stir in soup, sour cream and cheese.

Mix with green beans and put in casserole dish.

Melt butter and mix with crushed crackers. Spread evenly on top of beans.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Makes 6 servings

NOTE...Sodium may be less than noted above because I drain and rinse my beans before using them.
