Brussel Sprouts with Lemon Butter

Introduction

Lemon tones down the traditionally strong flavour of the sprouts. Lemon tones down the traditionally strong flavour of the sprouts.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    500 g. brussel sprouts
    1 Tbsp margarine
    1.5 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
    1 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Directions

Makes 6 servings.

Clean brussel sprouts and make an X in the bottom of each one. Steam for about 10-15 minutes or until tender.

Place margarine and lemon juice in a small dish and microwave till melted. Pour over brussel sprouts and mix. Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and serve.
