Vegan Fruit Scones



Introduction

Any dried fruits would probably be delicious in these soft-textured scones. Any dried fruits would probably be delicious in these soft-textured scones.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 tbsp raw sugar (turbinado)
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 cup cranberries
    1/3 cup applesauce
    1 1/4 cup soy milk

    **add in 1/3 cup carob or chocolate chips for an extra-delicious treat

Directions

Just mix all ingredients together. Drop by large spoonfuls onto a baking sheet (should make 8 large scones) and bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes. Easy and delicious.
