Carrot Cake Oatmeal

Introduction

Ever thought about eating carrot cake for breakfast? Well now you can- quilt free! Ever thought about eating carrot cake for breakfast? Well now you can- quilt free!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/3 cup rolled oats
    1/3 cup water
    1/3 cup milk
    1/2 Tbs ground flax seed
    dash salt
    1 small carrot, graded
    1/2 cup applesauce
    1 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
    1 tsp. brown sugar

Directions

1. Combine the oats, water, milk, flax seed, carrot, applesauce and salt in a small pan. Leave to sit for 10 minutes. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.

2. Add the coconut, brown sugar and cinnamon, cook for another 2-5 minutes, until the oats reach the desired consistency.

3. Serve and top with walnuts.
