IntroductionThis is my husband's favorite recipe. This is my husband's favorite recipe.
1 can rinsed great northern beans
1 boneless, skinless chicken breast cubed
2 Jennie O Hot Italian Sausage links fully cooked and sliced
1 tsp olive oil
1 small onion chopped
2 cloves garlic chopped
1/8 tsp dried rosemary
1/8 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup chicken stock
Add spices to pan and cook until fragrant - approx 2 minutes.
After beans are drained, in a small bowl, mash 1/2 with a fork.
Add beans, stock and sausage to pan. Cook on medium low heat for 15-20 minutes until thickened and chicken is cooked through.
