Banana Bread

Introduction

A favorite recipe that I'm trying to make less calorie-dense. A favorite recipe that I'm trying to make less calorie-dense.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 cup flour
    1/2 tsp. aking soda
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 cup sucralose
    1/3 cup shortening
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    3 ripe bananas
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.
Stir together salt, flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat sucralose and shortening with electric mixer. Add, eggs, milk, and mashed bananas, hen add the flour mixture. Add nuts, if desired.
Turn batter into a lightly greased 8 X 4 inche loaf pan. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool. For easier slicing, wrap and store overnight.
