1.25 lb. ground turkey
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 T Italian seasoning
13.25 oz box of whole wheat penne
1 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes, italian style
1 c mozzerella cheese, shredded
1 T olive oil
2. In a skillet heat up the olive oil the add in ground turkey and italian seasoning. Once turkey is done, add spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, olives, and mushrooms. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Drain pasta and pour into the lasagna dish. Add in sauce mix. stir til pasta is well coated in the sauce. Spread the mozzerella cheese over the top of the mixture. Place dish in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Take out of the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving...enjoy!
To lower calories, remove the olives and mushrooms or substitute other ingredients.
This meal is also great to freeze, and eat later.
