Introduction

Just a tasty homemade beef stew which is carb friendly. Excelent for bariatric patients. Just a tasty homemade beef stew which is carb friendly. Excelent for bariatric patients.

Ingredients

    Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 1 can (10.5 oz), prepared
    1.25 Stew meat (beef)
    Canned Tomatoes, 1 can
    Peas and carrots, frozen, 1 cup
    Corn Starch, .25 cup
    Onions, raw, 1 large
    1 cup water

Directions

Makes 8 1-cup serving. approx.

Coat meat peices with cornstarch then brown with a little oil or cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients into a crockpot and cook for 10 hours (less time for more firm meat)
