Ingredients

    12 leaves red cabbage trim center stem
    1 ring kielbasa skinned and chopped fine
    2 rolls or bread slices crumbed and soaked in some of beef broth
    1/2 cup eggbeaters
    parsely salt and pepper to taste.

Directions

Core cabbage. cook core end down in boiling water with 1 to 2 table spoons of vinegar. to maintain color. Meantimes drain squeeze out dry and pulverize bread crumbs. Mix with minced sausage egg and parsely. Scoop by heaping table spoons into leaves rolling and trimming thick center as needed. Pack in casserole dish tightly. Pour boiling broth over all and bake covered 1 hour. Serve on warmed platter. Optionally render salt pork pieces and pour over rolls at serving time for a really high cholesterol treat .
