Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. all purpose flour
    1/2 c. wheat bran
    2 c. quick cooking or old fashioned oats
    2 Tbsp cinnamon
    1/2 Tbsp nutmeg
    2 Tbsp flax seeds
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    2 c. fat-free milk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. splenda
    2 c. unsweetened applesauce
    4 large egg whites
    2 Tbsp. canola oil

Directions

For a nice evenly cooked pancake, pour about 1/2 c. onto a griddle at 300 degrees. Cook for about 5-8 minutes per side until slightly brown and cooked all the way through. It is delicious without anything else on it, cold or hot! Enjoy!
