Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta

Introduction

From the Kraft recipe magazine, but I added in some veg to fill it out and reduced the cheese by a lot! From the Kraft recipe magazine, but I added in some veg to fill it out and reduced the cheese by a lot!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Ground beef, extra lean, 250 grams (1 lb)
    Whole Wheat Fusilli pasta 225 grams (8 oz)
    1 can Tomato Soup, (10.75 oz)
    Bacon, 6 medium slices
    1 medium red pepper
    5-6 Shallots
    Cheddar Cheese (enough to sprinkle over the top)
    BBQ sauce (optional - recipe calories don't include this)

Directions

Cook pasta according to package. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook beef until no longer pink; drain and set aside. In the same skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove with slotted spoon to paper towels. Discard drippings. Drain pasta, add to skillet. Add soup, beef and bacon, heat through. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and cook until cheese is melted. Serve with BBQ (if desired) Yields 4-6 servings.
