My Split Pea Soup

Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 cups finely diced celery
    3 cups finely diced onion
    3 cups diced carrots 1/2 inch to one inch cubes
    2 diced sweet potatoes 1/2 inch to one inch cubes
    5 cloves of garlic minced
    1 15oz pkg of John Morrell ham slices diced 1/2 inch to 1 inch cubes
    2 cans swanson chicken broth (or 3 cups)
    8 cups of water
    1/2 tsp basil
    1/2 tsp thyme
    1/2 tsp white pepper
    1/2 tsp mrs. dash
    1/2 tsp seasoned salt
    1/2 tsp celery salt
    1 tsp cumin
    1 tsp parsley
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp paprika
    1 lb bag of split peas

Directions

Throw everything in the crockpot and slow cook all day long.
