Cinnamon Chicken a la mera

Ingredients

    1 chicken breast skinned
    1 cup of chopped raw carrots
    2 tbsp of onion finely chopped
    20 gr butter low fat
    2 tpsp Cinnamon (be generous)
    1 tsp salt
    a pinch of chili powder
    1 cup of water

Directions

in a sauce pan melt the butter add the chopped onion stir until golden yellow .
cut the chicken into cubes add the chicken to the onions and stir untill chiken are white add the carrots and the cinnamon , salt , chili and stir cover the saucepan and leaved for 5 minutes untill it absorbs its juice. add 1 cup pf water and leave to boil until carrots are tender not too crunchy. swrve with plain rice or better couscous
