When I defrost my ground venison in the frig I poke several holes in the bottom of the plastic bag, place it in a bowl and allow it to drain. My DH can taste the difference.
I'll be putting this recipe together tomorrow morning & let it simmer all day long on low in the crock pot. YUM! - 1/28/10
My husband just got back from a hunting trip in Colorado. We love Venison meat. It is healthier then beef. Thanks for the yummy recipe. - 10/29/09

You are so welcome. Mine (husband) is leaving in the morning for pheasant hunting. Sorry about the large sodium, it is hard to keep everything low. Enjoy.
