Chili Con Turkey

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 pound Ground Turkey
    1 can(14oz) Mexican Style diced tomatoes
    1 can (15 oz) black beans(rinsed and drained)
    1 can(14 oz) whole kernel sweet corn (drained)
    1 package(1 1/2 oz) died chili mix
    1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
    1/4 cup water
    1 cup cooked rice

Directions

Brown the turkey meat and add the rest. Very simple. Serve over rice(I usually use brown.)

  • Very Good! A real family favorite. I use the steam fresh brown rice and just create a small rice bed on the plate a spoon out the chili mix. I almost always forget the flaxseed.
    Its so fast and very easy to make. Mostly the cook time is for the turkey or you can use lean ground beef. - 1/18/10
