Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 lbs at least of green beans, snapped
    1 lb raw bacon, diced
    1 onion, chopped
    6-8 potatoes, diced
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    water to cover

Directions

Place beans and bacon with onion in kettle and cover with water. Bring to boil then reduce heat to barely simmer. Make sure water doesn't go down below beans. Add potato about last 20-30 min of cooking and season to taste.
