Lighter Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients



    * Butter, salted, 1 stic, softened
    * Granulated Sugar, .25 cup
    * Brown Sugar, .25 cup, packed
    * Egg, fresh, 2 large
    * *Flour, white, 1.5 cup
    * Oats, 2 cup
    * Cinnamon, ground, .5 tsp
    * Cardamom, ground, .5 tsp
    * Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp
    * Raisins, .5 cup (not packed)
    * Baking Powder, 2 tsp
    * Milk, 2%, .5 cup

Directions

Preheat oven to 375.

Cream together butter and sugar with electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, oatmeal, baking powder, cinnamon, and cardamom.

Slowly add dry ingredients, stirring to blend. Alternate with Milk to keep dough moist. Add vanilla and raisins.

Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
