Introduction

This will make additional healthy dish when you can get an organic daikon radish. Daikon skin is richer in vitamin C and A than daikon body. Daikon has nothing to throw away including its leaves. Ingredients

    100g daikon skin and daikin root
    40g carrots
    1 piece hot pepper
    2 tsp sesame seed oil
    2 tsp sugar
    2 tsp mirin
    2 tsp soy sauce

    toasted sesami seeds (option)

Directions

1. Cut daikon skin, daikon and carrot into match stick size with about 2 inch in length.
2. Cut hot pepper in small pieces.
2. Stir fry daikon, carrots and hot pepper in sesame oil for about 2 minutes.
3. Add sugar, mirin and soy sauce. Cook about 5 minutes in medium heat until the vegetable become tender. Be careful not to overcook. You want to keep crispier texture.
4. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
