* Honey, 1 tbsp (remove)
* *Lemon Juice, .5 lemon yields (remove)
* Cinnamon, ground, .25 tsp (remove)
* Nutmeg, ground, .25 tsp (remove)
* Salt, 1 dash (remove)
* Pepper, black, 1 dash (remove)
* Olive Oil, .25 cup (remove)
* Cider Vinegar, .06 cup (remove)
* Raisins, .5 cup (not packed) (remove)
* Apples, fresh, 1 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per l (remove)
* pecan 1/2 cup chopped
* wheat berry hard (1/4 cup uncooked), .05 cup (remove)
Directions
make wheat berries according to package directions.
mix cider vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice honey or honey substitute. chop a green apple in to small pieces, chop toasted pecans. add both to the cooked wheat berries and raisins. pour vinegar mixture over wheat berries raisins apple and pecans and mix. can serve warmish or room temp. serves two
