low carb turkey roll snacks
Submitted by: LOOKINAHEAD1Introduction
I have just started a low carb diet and found that this makes a nice snack in between meals. you can use any type of turkey slices, those (about 1 oz) thicker from the deli work nicely. absolutely! i also will throw in a dill pickle spear sometimes for extra crunch and flavor. I also have a recipe on here for a wrap BLT which uses lettuce as the wrap - try that one too!

I make these all the time. Sometimes I use cream cheese instead of Laughing Cow cheese, and I like to also add sliced green onions on top of the cheese. - 1/8/10

the green onion sounds like a delicious "crisp" addition - thanks, i'll have to give that a try!

How does the sodium stack up against daily percentages? - 3/15/11

luckily there are many deli meats out there that help us to regulate our sodium intake. If sodium is something you are paying very close attention to - be sure to ask your deli for a low sodium meat suggestion. thanks!
