Ingredients

2 cups water
1 tbsp cinnamon, ground
1 cup kasha
1 pinch salt
1 cup apple, peeled and chopped
1 tsp ginger, ground
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine water and cinnamon stick and bring to a boil. Add kasha and a pinch of salt, reduce the heat to low and cook for about 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add apple and ginger.
