Introduction

I used to make this with only the rice chicken and broccoli but got the idea to add the other ingredients I find I tend to crave this when working out. its also a good "comfort" food for when not feeling well or to warm up on a cold day :) I used to make this with only the rice chicken and broccoli but got the idea to add the other ingredients I find I tend to crave this when working out. its also a good "comfort" food for when not feeling well or to warm up on a cold day :)

Ingredients

    6 pieces of drumsticks, 6 pieces thighs, 1 1lb bag of Great Value Broccoli, 1.5 small bag of Great Value Frozen Corn, and Frozen mixed vegitables, 3 cups of Great Value Instant Rice.

Directions

I boil the chicken until the meat starts to fall of the bone, then I "pull it off" in a seperate pan I cover the frozen vegitables with 1.5 cups of Swanson Chicken Broth and water then cook, in another pot I boil the remainder of the chicken broth with 1.5 c. water for rice. Once the rice is finished, I add the veggies, chicken and black beans. mix it all together then add the cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup (do NOT add extra water) and cook on low heat until heated through
