Banana Rice Pudding

Submitted by: DORIS104

Introduction

I kind of threw this together one day and loved it. It really satisfied my sweet tooth. This recipe makes 5 - 3/4 cup servings. I used 425 grams of banana for 5 servings which equals 4 oz of banana per serving. This was only for the nutrition breakdown. You can add how much banana and cinnamon that you want, just adjust the nutrition info to suit your taste. I kind of threw this together one day and loved it. It really satisfied my sweet tooth. • Do you make the pudding according to package directions? With skim milk ??? What about the rice? Cook it as you would cook rice and mix with the pudding? - 6/4/10

I make the pudding according to the package using skim milk. I usually use Basmatic Brown rice and cook it according to the directions on the bag. Then I weigh the banana, then add the pudding and rice and mix it together. I may add cinnamon or nutmeg also.
