Mixed Grains Hot Cereal

Introduction

This is a hearty hot cereal. It takes a while to cook, but does very well on the porridge setting of a fuzzy-logic rice cooker. I think it would work overnight in a crock-pot, but I'm not sure. Ingredients

    2 Cups Steel Cut Oats
    1 Cup Wheat Berries
    1 Cup Barley
    1 Cup Millet

    water
    pinch of salt

Directions

Use 1 part cereal mix to 3 parts water. Put in rice cooker on porridge setting overnight. I find it works best to have it done and sitting on the "keep warm" setting for about an hour before I want to eat it.

I use 1/4 cup of mix (about 55 grams) to 3/4 cup water for one serving.

I've never cooked this on a stove top. The 20 minutes is a guess.
