Pork Chops and Yams

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 Pork Loin Chops, boneless
    2 Yams
    1 White Onion
    2 Apples
    Butter, salted, 1 TBS
    Brown Sugar, 3 TBS packed
    Maple Syrup, 1/4 TBS
    Pecans, 1/4 cup, chopped

Directions

Peel yams and onions, cut into 1/4 inch slices. Brown Chops on both sides in a pan with cooking spray. Remove chops and add butter, sugar and syrup.
In a 9x13 baking dish layer pork chops, yams, onions and apples. Pour sugar mixture over the top and sprinkle with pecans. Cover with foil and Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hrs, remove foil the last 15 mins.
