Introduction

A mix of vegetables with almonds and cheese tossed with Kraft fig and balsamic vinaigrette. You can use whatever floats your boat is a tossed salad. A mix of vegetables with almonds and cheese tossed with Kraft fig and balsamic vinaigrette. You can use whatever floats your boat is a tossed salad.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 stalk of celery
    1 grated and peeled carrot
    1/2 cup of peeled and chopped cucumber
    1 green onion (scallion) finely chopped
    1/4 cup of whole almonds
    1/4 of a red pepper
    2 cups of shredded romaine lettuce
    2 slices of tomato chopped
    1/4 cup of shredded old white cheddar cheese
    4 TBSP of Kraft fig and balsamic vinaigrette (Approximately. I never measure just guess)

    Stir it all together in a big mixing bowl and chow down

Directions

Chop it up, stir it up, then eat it up. I guess this would serve about four people but I just eat the whole thing for dinner, so I counted the whole thing as one serving in the nutritional info.

  • This would have been very good, but the calories in the dressing had to be changed to a light version and I used less plus a little blue cheese instead because the flavor goes further. I used slivered almonds and this really was enough for 2 servings. - 3/19/13
