WW Clam Sauce

Ingredients

    2 tsp.olive oil
    2 garlic cloves minced
    2 cups bottles clam juice
    1/2 tsp oregano leaves
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp white pepper
    8 plus ounces canned minced or whole clams(I use to cans)
    2 TBS. chopped fresh parsley
    8 TBS grated parmesean cheese

Directions

in saucepan heat oil, add garlic and saute just til golden. Add remaining ingredients except clams and parsley and bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add clams and parsley and cook until thoroughly heated about 3 minutes. While sauce is simmering, cook linguini according to directions. Serve over linguini with 2 T cheese. Wonderful with steamed zuccini=little high in sodium-could rinse clams-clam juice is not figured in
