Introduction
Homemade baked meatloaf. Homemade baked meatloaf.Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients

1½ lbs. Ground beef, extra lean
½ cup Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain
1 large Egg
1 medium Onions, raw, chopped
1 medium Green Bell peppers chopped
2 cloves Garlic, crushed
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper, black
2 cans(8 oz.)Tomato Sauce,
Tips
Directions
Combine the first 8 ingredients by hand until well mixed. Form into a loaf and place in a 9 X 13 baking pan. Pour 1 can of tomato sauce over meat and 1 can of water around meatloaf in the pan and put in oven at 400 for 20 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 and pour the other can of tomato sauce over meatloaf. Baste meatloaf every 30 minutes until done. Add water if sauce gets too thick during baking.
Slice and serve.

Sorry for the delay in answering. I usually cook this for 2 hours at least. Because of the tomato sauce it does not dry out.
