Enchilada Sauce

Submitted by: YSSIRHCMIK

Introduction

This actually calls for 3 cups of water and 3 tbsp of flour to be mixed with the dry ingredients, but I used potato starch instead and so reduced the amount of water. Ingredients

    2 tbsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp oregano
    1 tsp cocoa powder
    2 cups water
    8 oz tomato sauce
    1 tbsp potato starch

Directions

Mix all dry ingredients except potato starch. Add in a little bit of the water to make a thin paste. Pour into pan and add rest of water. Cook for about 20 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce. Then add potato starch (that's been mixed with a little water to make a thin paste) to sauce and cook for about a minute.
