Ingredients

1 lb Garbanzo Beans (Chick Peas), Dried
1 Cup Chicken Broth
6 Cups Water
Directions
1. Rinse Garbanzo Beans and check for any foreign matter.
2. Fill a large pan with water and add the Garbanzo Beans.
3. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 2 hours or until soft.
At this point you can eat as is or use for other dishes. I like to add some pepper and eat as is. I will also add about a cup or two to one can of Indian Spicy Garbanzo beans to flavor the plain beans and to cut down on the sodium content of the canned beans.
Servings: About 10 half cups
