Directions

cook potatoes and mash dry
brown meat with onion, garlic and herbs
add 1 cup beef broth and bring to boil, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes, then uncover and increase heat to boil off most of liquid.
combine meat mixture and potato off heat...allow to cool for 30 minutes
place pie crust in pan, fill with meat mixture and top with second piecrust. bake at 425 for 30 to 45 minutes
