Chicken Fajitas

Introduction

LOW sodium, HIGH protein!
Check that your chicken has 75 mg sodium/4 oz --- some have that "injected with natural chicken broth" which is really just salt water and can have 180 mg sodium/4 oz chicken!
I do NOT cook with salt, and once you become accustomed to cooking without salt, you will realize how different foods have SO much flavor!

Ingredients

    4 oz chicken breast
    1/2 cup onion, sliced
    1/3 large green bell pepper, sliced
    1/3 large red bell pepper, sliced
    1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    1/4 tsp each, garlic powder, onion powder
    1/8 tsp black pepper

Directions

Cut meat, peppers and onions into strips. heat oil in pan, add meat and seasonings stirring frequently, until no longer pink - add onions, peppers and mushrooms . cook until softened, about 8 minutes. Serve with whole grain tortillas.
