* Plain non fat yogurt, 16 oz
* *Brown Rice Syrup, 2.5 tbsp
* Milk, 3.25%, 2.5 tbsp
* Banana, fresh, 3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)
* Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp
Freeze for a few hours. Enjoy!
About eight 1/2 cup servings.

Never heard of brown rice syrup. Is there something else that can be substituted for this? What is it's purpose in the recipe? Coagulent? Sweetener? Binder? - 11/19/09

I'm using it in place of light corn syrup to enhance the texture and sweeten the frozen yogurt. (My husband's diet excludes every sweetener except juice, fruit, and brown rice syrup.)
